Build, Build, Build!

San Francisco needs more housing and should be developing empty parking lots into places for people to live—yet some of our Supervisors tend to think otherwise.

Supervisors Dean Preston, Connie Chan, Aaron Peskin, Shamann Walton, and Hillary Ronen have staunchly voted against numerous housing development projects. 

  1. One example of this being in October of 2021 when they shot down a 495-unit complex in SoMa at 469 Stevenson Street.  SF Standard
  2. Another example is in June of 2023 when they delayed a townhome project that would have housed dozens of San Franciscans.  SF Chronicle
It’s in San Francisco’s DNA to embrace change, and VisionarySF is here to spearhead it. 
Ambitious housing plans must be adopted in order to fix the affordable housing crisis our city finds itself in.
That is why we vow to only support candidates who are in favor of these values.
