Thank You, SFPD!

In the age of some groups advocating to “defund” the police, VisionarySF proudly stands with the police department.

• Within the first 6 months of 2023 alone, SFPD has made 390 arrests for open-air drug dealings in the Tenderloin and SoMa areas. San Francisco Public Safety

• SFPD has seized 61 kilograms of fentanyl and 95 kilograms of narcotics.

• And thanks to Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, the National Guard has also been deployed in the Tenderloin to assist in clearing the neighborhood of these harmful substances.

We also endorse Mayor London Breed’s 14.6B budget for Fiscal Years 2023-2024 and ‘24-25 signed on July 26th, 2023, which will allow for an additional 220 law enforcement officers to join the department.
